Silver Plated Food Warmer Stamped Charles Balaine No 9 Faubourg du Temple Rechauds de Table Chauffe Plat Antique French Vintage 1827-1844
Two piece plate warmer with handles and feet. A vintage table piece to enable you to keep plates or food warm on a side board or on your dining table. It is in the Louis Philippe era, mid 1800s, so reflects that style.
The warmer has holes in the side and a vent on the surface to enable the heat to do it's job and it has sturdy handles and feet to take considerable weight. It is in excellent antique condition with surface scratches, minor indentations all over this piece, marks and minor discolouration through authentic wear.
There are signs of use and wear and there is some discolouration on the surfaces.

This is a lovely, distinctive, signature French piece of antique French quality table silver plate - the feet are fabulous!
It weighs 1.27kgs 2lbs 12.8 ozs and measures 27 cms 10 5/8 inches across and is 19.3cm high about 3 1/2 inches.

If you live in a country that has 110V electrical supply all you need to do to convert the lights is ask an electrician to replace the bulb holders when he is fitting the lights. All the wiring is suitable for world wide use. It's that simple!
