Vallauris is an area near Marseille that has been making quality ceramics for many years. The area grew as a pottery centre in the late 19th century, and many companies have flourished there since then, notably those of Massier, Madoura and Foucard-Jourdan. They have a wonderful tradition of striking, modern ceramics. This is an example of one of them.

This is a large hand thrown and decorated jug fully marked on the base Thiry.

It weighs 1.43 kilos over 3lbs 2 ozs.

It is 20cm or 8 inches high and is 13cm, or 5 1/8 th inches wide.

Lighting and Electrical Goods

Our lighting all works unless otherwise stated. All electrical items need to be checked by a local electrician to ensure compatibility with local electrical standards.
The bulb fittings are compatable with 240V electrical supply which covers most of the world.
See:
http://www.worldstandards.eu/electricity/plug-voltage-by-country/
If you live in a country that has 110V electrical supply all you need to do to convert the lights is ask an electrician to replace the bulb holders when he is fitting the lights. All the wiring is suitable for world wide use. It's that simple!
