Francois LEVRAT made coffee pot with authentic marks that signify it was made after 1811.
This is truly a collector's item that will grace any cabinet or be as useful as any modern coffee pots but with bags more class!
There are some signs of age, surface scratches and signs of wear but being Francoise Levrat the silver shines through beautifully. There are darker marks on the outside. True authentic wear. The legs and feet are in good condition, the spout is in fabulous condition and it pours beautifully.
This is a very beautiful old thing, it has a real quality feel and looks marvelous especially in candlelight. It is in the Louis Philippe, Charles 10th style.
Francoise Levrat was one of the first to produce in France metal objects lined with silver, gold and platinum, the quality of which equaled that of the Sheffield workshops in England. In 1819, the excellence of his achievements was greeted by Louis XVIII, who awarded him a silver medal as a reward for his achievements.
It is marked with the Francoise Levrat Logo and Doublure

If you live in a country that has 110V electrical supply all you need to do to convert the lights is ask an electrician to replace the bulb holders when he is fitting the lights. All the wiring is suitable for world wide use. It's that simple!
