Christofle is one of the premier maker of fine silver, silverware, ceramics and jewelery in Paris. The business was founded in 1830 by Charles Christofle.
This is piece that dates from 1862-1874 - marked Christofle, square CC with scales, diamond with 9.
It is in antique worn condition with surface scratches and signs of use and wear, there are slightly darker marks on the surface, there are scratches across the base edge. There is no deep scratches.
The candle top holder cowling is removable as is the snuffler.
It weighs 438 grams 15.4 ounces and is 18 cm across 7 inches it is 5.5cm or 2 1/8 inches high, the candle diameter is 24mm or 1 1/4 of an inch. Snuffler is 6.5cm high 2 1/2 inches

If you live in a country that has 110V electrical supply all you need to do to convert the lights is ask an electrician to replace the bulb holders when he is fitting the lights. All the wiring is suitable for world wide use. It's that simple!
