This is a very good size.
This company was founded in the mid 1800's and the firm closed in 1959. This has the initials CD and the Inital of E for Esslingen, Germany on the base.
This is an incredibly sought after manufacturer.
The decors they designed were inspired by both floral French Art Nouveau, German Jugendstil and by linear Art Deco so this is a derivative of the three.
It was the aim as a company, through its use of the methods of production, to make artistically designed, contemporary Jugenstil objects of daily use. This wonderful pot is one of those items.
This is an amazing large plant pot with feet and with cast brass/bronze decoration on the outside of a solid copper body. It is truly beautiful.
There are surface scratches and signs of wear, there are many superficial dents on the outside, the base is slightly marked. There is cleaning residue in the crevices. It is not completely round, there is verdigris on the interior.
It is 22cm high 8 5/8 inches, it is 30.5cm or 12 inches across.
It weighs 1.49 kilos, just over 3lbs 4.5 ozs and will be posted well wrapped and via our tracked and insured parcel post.

If you live in a country that has 110V electrical supply all you need to do to convert the lights is ask an electrician to replace the bulb holders when he is fitting the lights. All the wiring is suitable for world wide use. It's that simple!
