Desk Encrier Lion Antique French Bronze Spelter Letter Rack Inkstand Art Nouveau Restoration Project Heavy Desk Office Quality Cast Item
Antique French Encrier, inkstand with inserts made from cast solid bronze/Spelter. The lion is in excellent condition. There are glass inkwells with bronze lids.
There is cleaning residue in the crevaces and signs of age and use. The base is light in colour, there is copper sulfate on the underside. There are missing parts on the branches on the back, they are fairly level. This has had a hard life but has a real quality feel about it.
Ideal restoration project.
Heavy for it's size, it is a real quality item.

If you live in a country that has 110V electrical supply all you need to do to convert the lights is ask an electrician to replace the bulb holders when he is fitting the lights. All the wiring is suitable for world wide use. It's that simple!
