Choisy le Roi Hen and Chickens Plate
This is a lovely old plate that is a real antique.
This was made between 1836 and 1880 and is decorated with an impressed design of a Mother Hen and her Chicks, it has been glazed in green and as with most of this design of plate, there are manufacturing bubbles on the surface and two bruises on the surface. There are signs of age and wear. There are no chips or cracks. This is a true French antique.
It is stamped Boulenger et Cie Choisy le Roi on the reverse.
The Choisy-le-Roi faience factory of Choisy-le-Roi, southwest of Paris, France produced majolica from 1855 until 1910. The common mark is usually a black ink stamped "Choisy-le-Roi" pictured to the right with the large "B". The "HB" stands for Hippolyte Boulenger a director at the pottery. The factory's work was some of the most delicate produced in France.
It measures 24 cm about 9 1/2 inches and weighs 409 grams nearly a pound.
It will be securely wrapped in bubble wrap to outwit the postman, insured and posted via signed for parcel post.

Our lighting all works unless otherwise stated. All electrical items need to be checked by a local electrician to ensure compatibility with local electrical standards.
The bulb fittings are compatable with 240V electrical supply which covers most of the world.
See:
http://www.worldstandards.eu/electricity/plug-voltage-by-country/
If you live in a country that has 110V electrical supply all you need to do to convert the lights is ask an electrician to replace the bulb holders when he is fitting the lights. All the wiring is suitable for world wide use. It's that simple!
