These old timers were made before mass manufacturing, the pan has been made from two pieces of copper brazed together, the handle has been made from hammered iron and fixed with hand cut rivets. The lid was mad in the same era using copper rivets.
These are Museum pieces that have many stories to tell. The pan is unusable today, unfortunately it has a minor leak. It is showing the marks and badges of years and years of faithful service.
I love these old pans - they give you a connection to the past that is tangible.
We found these two old friends together and have kept them together.
There are surface scratches and small indentations all over the pieces, there are some indentations on the edges. The base is dented and shows signs of thousands of uses, the tin is dark, the maufacturing process is fully visible.
These were made in the first quarter of the 1800's and are still here to tell their story - not suitable for cooking anymore but a super decoration in your kitchen or dining room.
It is 15.5cm across 6 1/8th inches, the lid is 17 cm across, perfect.
It weighs 1.2 kilos or 2lbs 12 ozs.

Our lighting all works unless otherwise stated. All electrical items need to be checked by a local electrician to ensure compatibility with local electrical standards.
The bulb fittings are compatable with 240V electrical supply which covers most of the world.
See:
http://www.worldstandards.eu/electricity/plug-voltage-by-country/
If you live in a country that has 110V electrical supply all you need to do to convert the lights is ask an electrician to replace the bulb holders when he is fitting the lights. All the wiring is suitable for world wide use. It's that simple!
