French Faience Bordeaux Porcelain Ceramic Blue and White Oyster Plate J Vieillard Blue and White Pattern Plate 1835-1844
This is a beautiful example of a Jules Vieillard French faience plate from the Bordeaux factory. This factory closed in 1895.
There is signs of age and wear but minimal. The ball feet are in good condition. It is clearly marked with both Vieillard (JV & Cie)and Sce Chevreuse, Bordeaux.
This is a real piece of ceramic history.
Jules Vieillard succeeds to lead the Bordeaux factory in 1845 from David Johnstone so this plate dates from after 1845 but before 1895.
The factory closed for good in 1895.
This is a rare oyster plate, in good condition and a true beautiful blue and white antique.
It measures 23 cm across 9 inches and weighs 14.2 ozs.

If you live in a country that has 110V electrical supply all you need to do to convert the lights is ask an electrician to replace the bulb holders when he is fitting the lights. All the wiring is suitable for world wide use. It's that simple!
