Hand made wooden surround for a functioning barometer, signed. In orignal condition, a little dust in the crevices some water marks.
It is totally hand made with tiny handles and metal hinges, very skilfully made. It is in the style of a 19th century French commode or buffet - a French cupboard.
It is 24cm or 10 1/4 inches wide 16.5cm or 6 1/4 inches high and 10cm or 4 inches deep. It weighs 480 grams or 1lb 0.9 ozs.

If you live in a country that has 110V electrical supply all you need to do to convert the lights is ask an electrician to replace the bulb holders when he is fitting the lights. All the wiring is suitable for world wide use. It's that simple!
