We found this in a antique sale near Le Mans, with a few other fabulous items, in the Pays de la Loire region of France, this is a beautiful and useful vintage machine, a real piece of French cuisine, a very desirable thing.
The box itself is 11.5cm high 4 1/2 inches and it weighs 894 grams 1 lbs 15.4 ozs.
There are some surface scratches on the wooden casket and wear. There is residue on the inside. Most of the label has worn off.
It is in good antique used condition. This is an antique coffee with commensurate wear, there is some rust on the body of the metal mechanism. It is all expected wear for an antique coffee mill.
