Absinthe is a drink that is shrouded in mystery, an illicit brew that typifies the 1920's and 30's decadent and hedonistic ways. The spectacle and ceremony around preparing and drinking Absinthe only feeds the legend around the secret drinking of this potent brew.
In essence Absinthe is a very highly alcoholic tipple that is drunk with sugar and water - hence the spoon. A water container was placed above the glass holding the Absinthe and on the glass the spoon was place with a single sugar cube, the water then dripped into the Absinthe dissolving the sugar as it dripped and mixing the water, sugar and absinthe together.
When the sugar had dissolved then the absinthe was ready to drink.

Our lighting all works unless otherwise stated. All electrical items need to be checked by a local electrician to ensure compatibility with local electrical standards.
The bulb fittings are compatable with 240V electrical supply which covers most of the world.
See:
http://www.worldstandards.eu/electricity/plug-voltage-by-country/
If you live in a country that has 110V electrical supply all you need to do to convert the lights is ask an electrician to replace the bulb holders when he is fitting the lights. All the wiring is suitable for world wide use. It's that simple!
