This is truly a collector's item that will grace any cabinet or be as useful as any modern small table saucepan but with more style and class.
There are some surface scratches and signs of wear and use but the silver shines through beautifully. There are indentations and scratches on the base where many spoons have come into contact with the surface. . Makers mark is tiny and unreadable.
It has a bakelite handle that is firmly fixed and in good condition. It has a pouring spout - beautifully made.
This is a very beautiful old thing, it has a real quality feel and looks marvelous especially in candlelight.
