This is a massive round platter fully marked for Berlin and the Hotel Villars Palace. It is 37cm wide or 14 1/2 inches and weighs 1.7 kilos or 3lbs 12 ozs.

This is a magnificent piece of hotel ware. It has a beautiful old world patina that shows how useful this old platter was - and could be again, after being totally refurbished by us. Just enough to make it beautiful again, to emphasize the quality, substance and history of this old serving plate.

This has surface scratches and signs of wear and use, there are minor missing parts of the plating, there is pitting on the surface, 60 gr donated the amount of silver this plate started with. This is an old serving platter that saw the heyday of the interwar years and lived to tell the tale.
