Perfect large stoneware platter that would look super on any windowsill, wall or for use as a spectacular serving dish. This is a big serving platter as well as being very decorative.

There are no chips or cracks. There are surface scratches and minor signs of age. This has seen some life in a French farmhouse.

This is a German made stoneware platter from the factory of Marzi and Remy of Westerwald and is marked MR.

It is an amazing design - it is a robust modern piece. 'MR' or Marzi and Remy of Germany, have been making this sort of pottery for many, many years and the designs have hardly changed over all that time - it is an honest piece of workmanship.

It weighs 2.8 kilos or over 6lb 4ozs and measures just over 16 inches about 41 cm.
