They have the most beautiful patina and is in superb vintage condition. There are no makers marks
The design has been inspired by both floral French Art Nouveau, German Jugenstil and by linear French Art Deco.
It was the secessionists aim, through its use of the methods of mass production, to make artistically designed, contemporary Jugenstil objects of daily use (such as candlesticks, ashtrays, lamps, beakers, vases, planters, jardinieres. tea and coffee sets) accessible to a broad selection of the public.
These are mass produced items and are typical of the everyday vases available at this time.
These are a pair of Vases measuring 21 cms or 8 1/4 inches high and are 9.5cm across the bases of 3 3/4 inches they are handle to handle 12.5cm or 5 inches across.
They were made in the first half of the 20th century as decorative items and is lightly polished. There are some signs of use and wear as you would expect from items that are close to a hundred years old.
The bodies have some small indentations, the prominences are rubbed. The interiors have signs of use and wear and are marked. They are quite visually impressive pieces but is not heavy.
They weigh 583 grams, 1 lb 4.5 ozs and will be posted well wrapped and via our tracked and insured parcel post.

If you live in a country that has 110V electrical supply all you need to do to convert the lights is ask an electrician to replace the bulb holders when he is fitting the lights. All the wiring is suitable for world wide use. It's that simple!
