Made by one of the premier makers of silverplate and silver table ware in the world, Christofle, Paris for Alfenide.
This is a set that has been added to over a period of time.
They weigh 4.26 kilos 9lb 4.7 ozs and measure:
12 X Forks 21.5 cm 8 1/2 inches long
12 X Spoons 21.5 cm long 8 1/2 inches long
10 X Teaspoons 14.5 cm 5 3/4 inches long
1 X Ladle 32 cm 12 1/2 inches Bowl 9cm 3 1/2 inches
8 Sweet Forks 18.5 cm 7 1/4 inches long
8 Sweet Spoons 18.5 cm 7 1/4 inches long
Box 44 cm or 17 1/4 inches long and 28.5 cm or 11 1/4 inches wide.
They are all stamped Alfenide. There are surface scratches and signs of wear. We estimate they were made in the late 19th century 1888-1931
They have a very decorative monogram we think PR
They are fully marked on the handle and on the blade - super craftsmanship and design from Christofle.
The box has minor losses on the outside, the inner lining is in good condition. It is fully marked 'Lepage' the retailer, on the inside lid.
This superb box of cutlery will be securely wrapped and posted via our tracked and insured parcel post.

If you live in a country that has 110V electrical supply all you need to do to convert the lights is ask an electrician to replace the bulb holders when he is fitting the lights. All the wiring is suitable for world wide use. It's that simple!
