Made by hand with solid copper in the latter part of the 1800's. It has joints and seamed base. This Vase has been cared for very well over it's really long life. It is not water tight and has all the marks both from manufacturing and use over a hundred years.
This was found in the Normandy area, the home of French copper, where many independent artisans once worked making everyday utensils for everyday people. Now with mass manufacturing these skills are almost lost. Indeed there are only four areas in France that still make copper pans and utensils.
This is a super piece that would grace any area in your home. The patina is exceptional, this is a ready made heirloom!
This Vase has seen some life, the outside is slightly pitted. There are many scratches and signs of use and wear.
This is a really elegant early item that will look fantastic in a solitary position - the patina really draws the eye.

Our lighting all works unless otherwise stated. All electrical items need to be checked by a local electrician to ensure compatibility with local electrical standards.
The bulb fittings are compatable with 240V electrical supply which covers most of the world.
See:

If you live in a country that has 110V electrical supply all you need to do to convert the lights is ask an electrician to replace the bulb holders when he is fitting the lights. All the wiring is suitable for world wide use. It's that simple!
