Sweet little French classical majolica or barbotine decorative plate. No chips, slightly crazed surface, a little wear on the foot, slight stain on the reverse, a little discoloration on the face, tiny chip on the basket edge
It is fully marked on the base with the St Amand Wandignies-Hamard mark. This factory was in production from1896 to 1952 when it closed. Pottery in this area started in1705 and carried on until 1962 when all production ceased.
It has some wear on the edges but it is in good overall condition
It measures 20 cm across just short of 8 inches and weighs 400 grams just over 3/4 pound.
It will be securely wrapped in bubble wrap to outwit the postman, insured and posted via tracked for parcel post.
