Antique French Solid Copper Water Bucket Copper Bucket Forged Iron Handle Totally Hand Made Fabulous Ancient Manufacture Not Water Tight

Water bucket made by hand with solid copper in the latter part of the 1700's or very early 1800's. It has castellated joints and an old dovetail repair to the base. It is not watertight.

This has seen some life, it is truly beautiful.

This lovely old piece has seen a few revolutions and lived to tell the tale. This has two massive hand made rivets holding the handle to the roundish shaped body, there are signs of age everywhere. The handle has been hand made by a blacksmith.

It has indentations, gouges, scrapes, scratches and dark spots. There is cleaning residue all over the outside and inside.

There are repairs on the rim and a split.

This is a proper antique piece that has served the community well and now needs a safe place to fall. This is a true museum piece.

This is made in several pieces and is heavy and lovely, imagine this on your hearth, or as a special container in your kitchen.

This old girl has a very rounded base and will not sit flat.
