This is where it all started.
Ruolz is an alloy of copper, nickel and silver developed by the French count Henri de Ruolz who gave him his name.
In 1840 with G. R. Elkington, Henri de Ruolz invented the gilding and argenture process of metals by Galvanoplasty then utilised and made famous by Charles Christofle.
Model Filet absolutely beautiful, quality flatware.

There are surface scratches and signs of use, there is minor wear, these are exquisite. They are in fabulous condition, the four teaspoons have worn bowls. They have a good weight singly and collectively.
