Pair of French SOLID SILVER carving knife and Fork utensils and hallmarks on the handles. Super condition with Paris made carbon steel blade, there is a guard on the fork. Classic set of carvers, perfect for any dinner or celebration.
The handles are marked with the Minerva mark signifying 950 silver.
They are Art Nouveau in style we estimate they are form the late 19th century. They have the coquille or shell pattern on the handles.
There are some dark spots on the carbon blade. The box is old, marked and worn with rust spots.
This is real French Antique Set.
The set weighs 495 grams or 1lb 1.4 ozs. The knife is 32cm long or 12 1/2 inches. The fork is 27.5cm or 10 3/4 inches long.
The box is 36cm or 14 1/8 inches long and is 9.5cm o 3 3/4 inches wide.
