Christofle made Metaille Blanc Toddy Ladle made in the late 19th Century. It is fully marked.
This is a collectors item and in super condition. Small sauce ladle in excellent antique condition suitable for use today. It has a metaille blanc bowl and shaft and a hard wood handle, very typical for its type.
This can be used for sauces, mulled wine, 'Hot Toddies' or just adored!
It weighs 79 grams about 2.8 ozs and are 36.5 cm about 14 3/8th inches long
The bowl is 9.8 cm across about 3 7/8th inches.
There are signs of age and wear, there are marks on the outside of the bowl, the shaft is very slightly bent, it is in remarkable condition for it's age.
