DEGUE SIGNED ABSTRACT OPALESCENT LIGHT SHADE VERY GOOD CONDITION - SIGNED DEGUE AND FRANCE

Beautiful art deco deep caramel yellow/amber opalescent glass lampshade without any fittings

David Gueron worked between 1926 and 1939 in collaboration with Edouard Cazaux making sumptuous glass art deco pieces for Degue. His comtemporary Schnieder was his inspiration and he also in his illustrious but short career was influenced by Daum.
He died in 1939.

His contemporaries were Lalique, Daum and Schnieder ( 'Le Verre Francaise'.)

There are a few bubbles in the shade caused during manufacture and also a slight graze on the outside corner, there is wear on the holes but only what you would expect from an authentic vintage art deco piece.

This light fitting needs complete rewiring and new hanging ropes, this will need to be done by your local electrician by your local eletrical standards.

This would look fantastic in any style of home whether vintage or modern - a stylish twist to any decor.

This is a French vintage authentic Art Deco lovely old, classic shade with original fittings.
