Vintage French Chantilly seafood platter with indentations for shellfish. Hand glazed it makes for an amazing platter both visually and practically. This is a substantial platter and is a fabulous present to yourself or loved ones - it is as impressive a seafood plate as you are likely to see.

Made by Longchamps, France, this is not only useful but also are a collectors item. It is superbly made and are a real statement piece to adorn any table for a special occasion or just a super indulgent lunch.

There are slight variations in the glaze and has some surface wear, especially around the centre well. This plate has hardly been used. There is marked crazing in the glaze especially on the reverse and in a few of the wells. This goes to the authenticity of the piece - a real piece of French Culinary History.
The platter is 33 m across or 13 inches.

It weighs a massive 1.3 kilos about 2.5 pounds.
